Sunny Holiday - Virginia Beach
Is anyone else suffering from the bitter cold temps this week has brought us? No matter how many layers I pile on, I still can't seem to escape that bone chill feeling. My three-week internship started up on Monday! And while I was very excited to be back helping out at The College Board offices here in Reston, I was not so excited to have to dig out my car from under ice and snow. On Tuesday I even got stuck in the middle of the snowy road during my morning commute... Happy New Year everyone!
Because these days I'm constantly dreaming of a warm and sunny day on the beach, I decided to share with you some photos I took in Virginia Beach over the holidays. My aunt has a beautiful home in the coastal city, and we decided to take a walk across the sand during our short stay.
While it wasn't quite warm enough to strip down for a sunbathe, we still weren't the only ones grabbing some fresh, salty air that day.
A stroll along the beach is just another chance to brush up on my photography skills :)
In case anyone is curious, I've been using a Sony a5000. This camera is the perfect size to carry anywhere for shooting on the go! And thanks to the wifi capability, sharing photos is easier than ever.
Well, if you need me I'll be shivering in front of a heat dish for the next month. I hope your New Year is off to a great start! What are your goals for 2015?
